Camp Vineyard 2017 Schedule & Registration Update!

Click the schedule to see the large version! If you’ve been to Camp before, you already know what to expect. If this is your first time, you’re going to have a lot of fun! Also, we wanted to give everybody an update about the registration waitlist. At this point, we’ve filled all available beds, and we don’t currently have a spot for anyone still on the waitlist. However, with just over 6 weeks to go, it’s not time to break out the sad emojis just yet. There are always cancellations, and as spots open up we will be filling them with Campers from the waitlist. We’re going to do that on a first come-first served basis. So, if you’d like to remain on the list, you don’t need to do anything. We’ll notify you if a spot becomes available. If, on the other hand, you want to make other plans and be removed from the waitlist, we totally understand. Just let us know at info@campvineyard.com As we get closer to Camp, we will update you on your status. If we’re able to find a spot for you, you’ll receive a registration confirmation email. If not, you’ll get first dibs (like, before Early Bird even opens first dibs) on a spot in 2018. If you’re a Camper on the waitlist, your parent or group leader just got an email with this same update. If you have any questions, let us know at ...
Camp Vineyard 2017 Registration is Almost Full!

Camp Vineyard 2017 Registration is Almost Full!

Wow! We’ve had an unbelievable response to registration this year, and we’ve broken every record! Just within the last week, almost all of those last 100 spots have been snapped up! With that, we’re putting Camper registration on a temporary hold. Any new Camper registrations after this post goes live will be put on a waitlist. Here’s why: Though we have 400 beds available, we have to account for the number of beds for guys and girls. Additionally, we have to make sure we’re holding beds for the right number of counselors. It makes for a tremendously complicated spreadsheet, as you might imagine. Now a waitlist isn’t the end of the world. We’re going to do everything we can to get kids off the waitlist and in to spots. This hold is more like a gentle tap of the brakes than a hard stop. The last thing we would want to do is cancel anyone’s registration after they were in because we had overbooked, so we use this process to keep things straight. If you or your Camper are on a waitlist, we’ll be in touch once we know for sure that they have a spot. And there will come a point (probably next week) where we’re totally full. Once that happens, we’ll make another post. In the meantime, if you have Campers or Adult Volunteers to get registered, go ahead and get them in so we can get them a spot. And if you’re a group leader with cancellations, please process those ASAP so we can find a bed for kids on the wait list. Thank...

New Team Members in 2016!

We’ve got some huge news for Camp Vineyard Southeast this year! As many of you know, Jeff and Kellie moved to Texas to plant Vineyard College Station. Their plan was to drive back for Camp in June and serve, as they always have, as our Site Pastor and Site Coordinator along with me. However, that plan has changed. The South Central Vineyard Regional Conference is, unfortunately, the same week as Camp Vineyard Southeast. That means that Jeff and Kellie, as new church planters in the region, need to take that opportunity to make connections throughout Texas and Louisiana. The down side is, they won’t be at Camp Vineyard Southeast this year. That’s a bummer. The upside is, they’re going to be helping Vineyard College Station get off to a great start! So, the big question is, who’s going to join me in leading CVSE this year? I’m glad you asked! Site Coordinator – Cory Trube Cory is the youth pastor at the Maryville Vineyard. He’s served at Camp as a Color Team Counselor, Game Team member, and most recently as the coordinator of Neat! Groups in 2015. Cory knows how Camp happens, and is awesome at putting team members in the right spots. As Site Coordinator, he’ll be working in conjunction with the Site Pastor and me to ensure our Color Team Counselors, Neat! Group Leaders and Deans have the info they need to serve the Campers. Personally, I’ve gotten to know Cory over the last couple of years, and he brings the right mix of fun and administrative abilities that the team needs. He’s become a good friend, and I’m confident that he’s...
