Before you click that fetching Register! button at the bottom of the page, take a second to be sure you understand the following:
I've got a question about COVID policies or changes for this year.
We will keep abreast of Woodland’s policies and the Georgia Department of Public Health guidelines. If, for any reason, we need to make an announcement about changes to these policies, we will do so on our social media and the Blog.
What's the age range?
We accept rising 6th graders through just-graduated 12th graders, or kids from age 11 through age 18. However, if your local church’s age range for their youth group/student ministry is different, we generally defer to their judgment. While we strive to do things that are suited to both ends of the spectrum, we realize that every kid is different. So, if you have a rising 6th grader that has friends a couple of years older than they are, then your child will do just fine. If you’re not sure, or you have a question about the programming, please send us an email.
Why do you want me to register with my group?
We encourage Campers to register through their local church youth group first, though we do allow individuals to register on their own. If you’re registering through your church, download the registration blank in the Parent & Volunteer Pack and turn it in with your payment to your church.
For adult volunteers, we’ll need a little more info. There’s a separate registration form for them, and if you’re registering as a group, you’ll need to hold on to the printed version. Download the Parent & Volunteer Pack to get all of the forms Volunteers will need.
We’ve added the ability to select your church group from a list. People may call their church different things – i.e. Campbellsville Vineyard vs. Vineyard Campbellsville – and this can cause confusion as we’re making cabin and team assignments. If you don’t see your church on the list, pick “other” at the bottom, and enter your church’s name in the Home Church field on the next screen. We’ll be sure to create a group for your church and assign you to that group.
I'm a youth pastor with a group, how many adult volunteers should I bring?
Adult volunteers must be at least 18 years old AND at least 1 year out of high school. No exceptions.
Here’s the deal, though. Any church sending more than 3 kids MUST send at least one volunteer with them. Otherwise, we’ll cancel the registrations and refund their money. It’s not because we like being officious jerks (we don’t), we just want to be sure your kids have a great time at Camp, and this is one way of being sure that happens.
Why do adult volunteers have to pay?
What if I'm a parent who wants to register all my kids on my own?
How do I handle payments for a group?
If you’re registering a group all at once, you’ll have to pay by one credit card or check transaction. If you add more folks to your group later, you can do a second (or third…or fourth…you get the idea) transaction then.
How can I pay?
We accept checks and credit cards via the Active system.
Please make checks payable to:
Restoration Vineyard Church
PO Box 25072
Chattanooga, TN 37422
The deadline for paying by check is the Friday 2 weeks before Camp.
Why do you need emergency contacts and medication info?
We also require a detailed schedule of medication for any prescription or OTC medications that a Camper takes. We will have a professional medical staff on hand that will handle administering the medications and taking care of any first aid needs. Camper safety is important to us, and we work hard to maintain high standards, especially when it comes to prescription medication.
What's the cancellation and refund policy?
- Full refund of any monies paid from the start of registration through 15 days before Camp.
- Full refund of any monies paid minus $35 cancellation fee from 14 days before through day before Camp.
- No refund for cancellations (or no-shows) on the first day of Camp and following.
- Full refund of any monies paid for cancellations due to medical/family emergencies before Camp, per the judgment of the Camp Director.
I registered, what's next?
You’ll receive a confirmation email with links to the Release forms and What to Expect sheets (part of the Parent & Volunteer Pack). If you registered a group, please print these out and distribute them to your group. A completed Parental Consent/Participant Release form will be required of all participants!
Submit Your Forms Online!: You can upload scanned copies of completed forms for each participant! Just imagine having all of that paperwork done for you before Monday Check-In at Camp. That feeling you have right now? That’s called bliss. You can bring the paper forms in a folder as a backup, just in case. But we highly recommend submitting the forms online.
If you elected to pay by check, someone from our team will be in contact with you. If you have any other questions, drop us a line, or call us at 423.458.2386
