With Easter and Spring Breaks (mostly) behind us, Camp prep is ramping up!
2022 Speaker – Carolyn Yoder!
We are SO EXCITED to welcome Carolyn to Camp this year! She has quite the background: Raised in a full-time prison ministry led by her evangelistic parents, she was instilled with a deep desire to see lives transformed by the good news of the gospel.
Carolyn is all about helping others find the God-given potential in their gifts. Through her messages, you’ll be challenged and encouraged to grow in those gifts, using them to minister to those around you. …Hey, that kind of sounds like the mission of Camp, doesn’t it? Sure does. We’re pumped.
Carolyn and her husband Chad live in Central IL and have three children: Blake (20), Ava (17) and Grey (14)
Spots Are Still Available!
With many of our churches still recovering from the last two years, we have some spots open for Campers. So, Campers, now’s a perfect year to invite that friend you’ve been wanting to bring to Camp. And youth pastors, Camp is a perfect cornerstone event to anchor your year! We want Camp to be part of helping your youth group regain momentum, build friendships, and strengthen discipleship in all 52 weeks of the year. So, don’t be shy about the invite; we are excited to meet new friends and start new stories this June!
Volunteer Screening
Group leaders: We’re going to start our usual screening process in May. The sooner you can get your remaining adults registered, the smoother the process will go. We know lining up adults is always a big challenge, and we appreciate how hard you work to bring awesome volunteers with you to Camp!
COVID Update
As always, we’re keeping an eye on trends in the southeastern US. Right now, the plan is still to do our usual (2019 and earlier) style of programming with a few lessons from 2021 mixed in. We’re going to keep flexible on that as we get into May and early June. There are no updates to the policies in the Parent and Volunteer pack at this point. If we do make some changes, we will post about it, email it, etc.
