GREAT NEWS! Woodland has officially let us know that we can increase our capacity for Camp Vineyard 2021 to 75%! Yes, we may have done a little happy dance when we got the news. Here’s what’s next:

If You Were On the Waitlist by 4/7, You’re Going to Camp
We had 47 people on the waitlist as of yesterday, and all of you will be getting confirmation emails shortly! We will be working on adding you into confirmed registration spots over the weekend. If you haven’t already, send your Neat! Group preferences to info@campvineyard.com.

If You Jump On the Waitlist After Reading This, You’re Probably Going
We will take from the waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis up to a total capacity of 75% (while respecting the splits we need for adult and Camper spots, more on that later). If you’ve been on the fence, don’t wait. It’s entirely possible that the remaining spots get snapped up by people jumping on the waitlist after this is published.

Registration for Any Available Camper Spots Will Re-Open Automatically
If there are any spots left after we move everyone we can off the waitlist, then you will be able to register for them directly. We’re not going to schedule a time for this, because the system will automatically re-open the Junior and Senior Camper registrations once spots are available and everyone in that category is moved from the waitlist.

The 25-Person Attendee Limit is REMOVED
We know this is more great news for a few groups. Since registration opened, we learned of more groups that were waiting for 2022 to return to Camp. This change in projected demand combined with the increased capacity means we are removing the attendee limit for groups.

We Will Hold Spots for Adults
We still need groups to fill in the rest of their adult volunteers. We know that’s always the challenge, and we are going to continue to hold spots for adults. Just remember the 1:7 ratio – 1 adult for every 7 kids, with a mix of adults that is similar to the mix of male and female Campers. If you are a group that sometimes brings more adults than you need and you’ve been holding off on registering them, go ahead and get them in.

We Are Still Waiting on Final Guidelines for Programming
As stated in a previous update, we have been waiting for final guidance from Woodland and the Georgia Department of Public Health regarding our programming structure. We’re hopeful that Camp will look pretty similar to 2019, but we are also planning for a very different way of doing Camp (the “cabin group” system referenced in that post). Once we know the final guidelines, we will be able to make adjustments, if needed. We will let all confirmed registrants know via an email blast, as well as posting here and on our social media.

We’re so excited to be able to bring more people to Camp. Especially since it looks like we will be able to accommodate everyone who wants to – or is able to – go this year! We will be back with more news once we have it. Thank you!
