Camp is only 8 weeks away! I originally shot a video explaining all of this, but my phone was having serious audio issues, so back to the trusty blog!

Announcing 2019’s Speakers: Grant and Sarah Pemberton!

That’s right, we said speakers: We’re doing something we’ve never done before! Grant and Sarah are the pastors of the Nashville Vineyard, which they planted a few years ago. They have a wonderful dynamic in ministry, and you are in for a treat. We’re so excited to have them joining us this year!

New Additions to the Worship Team: Tabatha & Kaleb Tillman!

Most of our team from 2018 is returning, but unfortunately Clayton isn’t able to join us this year. In his place, we have Tabatha and Kaleb Tillman from the Augusta Vineyard joining the team! They’re in charge of the youth worship team in Augusta as well as the high school student ministry. They’ve been leading together for several years, and have a heart for worship, teaching, and youth. Also, Tabatha plays basically every instrument. Seriously.

Super Big News from Woodland – They’re Building a New Cabin!

Yes, you read that right – Woodland is adding more space! Work is underway, and there are two ways you can help. First, visit woodlandcamp.org and donate to their building fund. Secondly, PRAY! Pray for favor with contractors and the building department, and for the whole process to go smoothly. There’s a chance this may be done in time for Camp Vineyard this year – so, be praying! We’ll keep you posted.

Waitlist Update

We’re going to start pulling a few Campers from the waitlist this week! As always, if you have cancellations from your groups, please let us know at info@campvineyard.com ASAP. The sooner we know, the sooner we can get a Camper from the waitlist who really wants to go to Camp!

Zip Line/Giant Swing

I mentioned adding more spots, here’s how that is going to go: On Thursday, May 9th at 10:00am Eastern, we will start accepting emails at info@campvineyard.com for Campers to switch their Neat! Groups. We will need: Camper’s name, what group they’re dropping, and which group (Zip Line OR Giant Swing, not both) they’re adding in its place.

It’s first come first served, and emails sent before 10:00am Eastern on the 9th won’t be accepted. Sorry. We couldn’t find a way to automate this, and we’re going to have to make the switches manually on the back end. We will confirm once the changes have been made. If there are more requests than spots, then we’ll fulfill as many as we possibly can!

Special News for Adult Volunteers

We’re using MinistrySafe.com for all of our screening this year. If you’re new or need to renew your safety system training, you’ll be getting an email with the training link soon. All of our adults will be receiving an email regarding the Background Check form, which is a different process this year. You’ll need to fill out that form and submit it.

One note: The background check email will be called something like “Ekklesia – A Vineyard Church Background Questionnaire”. Ekklesia is the new name of Vineyard Chattanooga. Same church, same folks, just a new name. Again, you’ll have to take action to fill out that form. It won’t take long, and the new process will help us as we get ready for Camp!

Leaders, please pass this along to your volunteers so they know to be looking.

That’s it! 8 weeks from right now, some of us will be at Camp, getting stuff ready on Day 0! Crazy!
