It’s June 1, and our once-in-a-lifetime Camp Vineyard event is just around the corner! Here’s an update about Camp Vineyard 2020!
What Color Team am I on?
Download the list of Color Teams here! Search it for your first name and first initial of your last name. (Some of you may have the first two or three letters of your last name, we had a couple of names that were similar.)
Full of ideas for your team’s name? Drop us a reply to the posts on Insta or Facebook, send us a DM, send us an email an info@campvineyard.com, use the form at campvineyard.com/online, whatever! You have from right now until June 7th to send those in. We will post the list of names on June 8th.
What About Flags and Cheers?
Starting June 8th until June 19th you can submit photos of your sketch of your team’s flag, or videos of you performing your team’s cheer. Again, just tag @campvineyard in the post, send it to us on fb or insta, or email it to info@campvineyard.com.
(By entering a photo or a video, you give us permission to show it off during the Opening Session stream on June 22.)
Camp Vineyard 2020 Online Schedule
Here you go! Monday kicks off at 3:00 Eastern with the Opening Session, followed by Big Game and the Evening Session. Tuesday-Thurday we have 3 daily streams, Morning Thing and Neat! Groups at 9:00 am Eastern, Big Game at 6:00 pm Eastern, and Evening Session at 7:30 pm Eastern. Friday will have a Closing Session at 9:30 am Eastern.
We’ve got some incredible worship leaders from literally all over the world for you this year. Joining us from Raleigh, NC are Taylor and Jason Phillips. Jason is the worship pastor at the Raleigh Vineyard, and Taylor has been a Camper for years. Alexandria Faison is a Vineyard worship pastor in Davenport, IA, and she’s being joined by her brother, Kaleb. Sam Crabtree is a familiar name to our friends from Campbellsville. He’s been the worship pastor in Canon City, CO for a couple of years now. And finally, joining us all the way from the Trinity Vineyard in Nakuru, Kenya, is pastor Edgar King!
For speakers, we have Brenn taking one night, Jenna Stepp (CV 2017 speaker) joining us another night, along with Geno Olison from the South Suburban Vineyard and Sharon McCarter from Maryville!
In the mornings, Billy Kent from Greenville will be leading our Morning Thing devotional times, as well as the Closing Session on Friday morning.
Speaking of Morning Thing, after the devo each morning, we’ll be having a different Neat! Group each day! Heather Russell will be leading an Art Track, Amber Emerson will be doing Mad Science, and we’re planning a sort of Big Questions-like segment for Thursday. For those first two, Jon will be joined by Olivia as they do the project along with you! We’ll be posting what you need if you want to participate.
I Want To Play in Big Game!
We need volunteers! 32 of you, to be exact. Email us at info@campvineyard.com. You’re already experts on Zoom, so let’s have some fun with it! We might ask you to do more than one night if we need to fill a spot from your team. Also, if your brother or sister is on a team too, we’d love to have them join as well. You’ll need: Your parent/guardian’s permission, a computer or tablet capable of doing Zoom, some earbuds (optional but recommended), and potentially a few supplies. We’ll give you a list well in advance if you’re picked for a game that needs supplies.
That’s it for now. We’ll be back on June 8th with the list of team names. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
